Deacons & Deaconesses

Deacons:

	Dan Carmody- Dan has been attending FBC for two and a half years. He and his wife, Sharon, have two adult children, Nicklas and Amanda, and one grandchild, Sierra. Dan was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan and came to Arizona in 1976. He enjoys gardening, traveling and woodworking. Dan also enjoys leading small group Bible studies.
	James Dorsett - James is a Phoenix, AZ native who began attending FBC in January of 1994. He and his wife, Yadi, have two children, Isabella and Vance. James enjoys photography, traveling, woodworking, guitar, writing and home improvement.
	Jim Farrington – Jim was born in Esterville, Iowa and has been attending FBC since 1957. He is married to Sharron Farrington and they have four children: Terri, Jenni, Katie, and Jamie. Jim enjoys traveling, sailing, and short term mission trips.
	Marc Blair – Marc grew up in Yorba Linda, CA and began coming to FBC in 2004. He is married to Jessica Blair. Marc’s hobbies include stand up comedy, volleyball, fishing, reading, roasting coffee, cooking, watching movies and spending time with Jessica. His life verses are Romans 10:9 and Psalm 23.
	Steve Evers – Steve began attending FBC thirteen years ago. Steve and his wife, Darlene have three children, Andy, Sarah and Luke. Born in Redbank, New Jersey, Steve was raised in Cedartown, Georgia and has resided in Phoenix since 1966. In his spare time, Steve enjoys photography, serving others, fellowshipping with Christians of other cultures and countries.
	Gary Maack -Gary has been attending FBC since 1986. He and his wife, Rachel, have two daughters, Charlotte and Heather. Gary enjoys stamp (postage) collecting and Aquarium fish. His life verse is Romans 8:28
	Ron Kielmeyer -Ron began attending FBC in 1979. He and his wife, Paula, have two children, Jonathan and Summer. Ron is our Leadership Board Chairman, faith-driven and highly trustworthy.
	Rick Mason – Rick began attending FBC in February 1987. He and his wife, Karen, have four children, Mark, Ashleigh, Kevin and Natalie. Rick is originally from Oakland, California and enjoys bicycling in his spare time.
	Scott Morrissey – Scott began attending FBC in 1995. He and his wife Tammy, have two children, Kristen and Michael. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Scott enjoys hiking, fishing, camping and scuba diving in his spare time.
	Wayne Shedenhelm – Wayne has been attending FBC since December of 2002. He was born in Cedar Rapid, Iowa and asked Jesus into his heart on September 29, 1963. Wayne is married to Marjorie B. Shedenhelm and they have four grandchildren: Cody, Zach, Madison, and Sami.
	Bob Smith – Bob began attending FBC about nine years ago. Bob and his wife, Lin, have two daughters, Tiffani and Brittani. Bob is originally from South Carolina and enjoys golf, reading and digital photography in his spare time.
	Paul Turck – Paul started attending FBC in July of 1982. He is married to Sharon. They have one son and two daughters. Paul enjoys golf and watching old western movies. He says the best advice ever given to him was to take the job transfer from New York to Arizona!
	Ray Vieweg – Ray was born in Trenton, New Jersey and grew up in California. He and his wife Fe moved to Arizona and began attending FBC in July 1997 together with their children, Tony and Daniel. Ray enjoys car racing, mountain biking, hiking, hunting, cooking for his family and traveling with his family. His favorite verse is “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;” Romans 3:23-24
	Aaron Will – Aaron has been attending FBC since he was in 7th grade. He and his wife, Mindelle, have two daughters, Natasha and Tatiana Rose. Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, reading—especially to his children — and playing video games.

Deaconesses:

	Virginia Anderson – Virginia has attended FBC since she was a child. She is married to Sylvester and they have four grown children: Pam, Suzie, Larry and David. In her spare time Virginia loves to cook, love on and teach children and do stitchery.

	Joy Getz – Joy began attending FBC around 24 years ago. She is married to Grant Getz and they have a daughter named Rebekah. Joy enjoys playing with the Wii, scrapbooking, making bead bracelets, mini golf, movies and going out for coffee. .
	Kim Blum – Kim was born in the East Valley where she grew up. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with a secondary teacing degree. Kim taught overseas for four years at Rift Valley Academy, which is a school for the children of missionaries. Following her time at Rift Valley Academy, Kim returned to Arizona where she married Scott. Kim and Scott have two daughters, Grace and Rebecca.
	Yadira Dorsett – Yadi has attended FBC since January 1996. She and her husband, James, have two children, Isabella and Vance. In her spare time Yadi enjoys listening to music, traveling and scrapbooking.
	Gail Halver – Gail was born in Portland, Oregon, but moved to Kalispell, Montana in 1974. In 1989, she moved to Phoenix and began attending FBC in January 1990. Gail and her husband, Don, have three children, Marie, Laura and Craig. Some of her favorite past-times include travel, gardening, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Noah.
	Bev Jutting – Bev began attending FBC in the fall of 1976. Bev and her husband, Roger, have four children, Sheri, Brian, Deanne and Andrea. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and since she is newly retired she hopes to being traveling.
	Paula Kielmeyer – Paula has been attending FBC since 1978 when she moved here from Los Angeles, CA with her parents, Burlin & Dorothy Griffin. Paula is married to Ron and they have two children, Summer and Jonathan. She and her husband enjoy family outings involving boating, camping and dirt biking. They are also enjoying a new hobby – ballroom dancing.
	Kasey Kugle – Kasey is originally from southwest Michigan and has been attending FBC since September 2007. She is married to Corey, who currently attends Phoenix Seminary full-time and works part-time at FBC as the H.S Youth Pastor. Kasey works as a clinical pharmacist and also enjoys being involved with the High School youth. In her free time, Kasey likes traveling and, most of all, spending time with Corey.
	Karen Mason – Karen began attending FBC in February 1987. She and her husband, Rick, have four children, Mark, Ashleigh, Kevin and Natalie. Originally from Oregon, Karen enjoys sewing, reading, scrapbooking, quilting and working on her family tree.
	Tammy Morrissey – Tammy began attending FBC in 1995. She and her husband, Scott, have two children, Kristen and Michael. Tammy is originally from Durango, Colorado and in her spare time enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, scuba diving, reading and cross-stitch.
	Fe Vieweg -Fe was born in Olongapo City (Subic Bay), Philippines. She and her husband, Ray, along with their sons, Tony and Daniel, began attending FBC right after they moved from Hawaii in July of 1997. Fe loves to cook and bake for her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, photography, making her own personal greeting cards and spending time with her family.  Her favorite verse is, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
	Jean Werner – Jean was born just outside of Philadelphia, PA. She has been attending FBC since 1982.  Jean is married to Mike Werner and has three daughters: Laura, Janelle, and Shannon. Jean loves animals and they have 2 beagles, 2 cats, and a corn snake. She also enjoys skiing and traveling.
