Worship Ministry

OUR GOAL is to help individuals involved be the best they can be for the Lord expressing God’s Word in all aspects of music, drama and the arts.

Morning traditional (8 AM), and blended (9:30 AM) worship is led by Pastor Phillip Shepherd.  There are two Sunday morning contemporary (9:30 and 11 AM) worship services.  Evening (6 PM) blended worship is led by Pastor Phillip Shepherd, and contemporary (6 PM) worship is led by Andrew Soto.  If you have questions regarding Worship Ministries, please contact our Worship Pastor, Phillip Shepherd, through the church office at (480) 839-0926 or via email at pshepherd@fbc-tempe.org.

MORNING WORSHIP CHOIR….

• The Worship Choir, Master’s Praise, leads our congregation in worship during the 8 and 9:30 AM Sunday morning services.
• Membership is open to anyone who is age 13 and above, no audition.
• Rehearsals are held each Wednesday from 6:45 to 8:15 PM in the Worship Center.
• The Master’s Praise also participates in a Fall Retreat, musicals, and seasonal concerts, as well as various church family functions throughout the year.

MORNING WORSHIP ORCHESTRA….

• Our Orchestra plays the 2^nd and 3^rd Sundays of each month in both the 8 and 9:30 AM services, and rehearses the Wednesdays before those Sundays from 7:15 to 8:00 PM in the Orchestra Room.
• Master’s Orchestra also plays in musicals and seasonal productions.
• Membership is open to anyone who is age 13, who has been playing at least 2 years, with an audition.

DRAMA MINISTRY….

TECHNICAL MINISTRY….

VISUAL ARTS MINISTRY….

• We are continually seeking ways to exalt and worship our Savior with all the fine arts! Elena Eros, a gifted professional artist from Tempe, offers Christian Art Classes on Wednesday evenings on our campus. There is a monthly fee involved paid directly to Elena Eros. If you are interested in attending our Children’s Christian Art Class, or our Adult Christian Art Class please contact Elena at 602-643-9726.
