Training Programs

Training – Mentoring Programs
For nearly two decades FBC has been training tomorrow’s leaders. Our purpose is to help any willing person become his or her best for Jesus Christ. We believe God designed the local church to equip and train Christians. We give them opportunity to put their training into action. We offer five training/mentoring programs for men and women who want to equip themselves for serving God. For more info click here to contact Senior Pastor Roger Ball.
Pastor in Training
The Pastor in Training program is for men to want to prepare themselves for pastoral ministry (Senior Pastor or Associate Pastor). Anyone who wants to be a part of FBC can apply for a part-time PIT position on staff. PIT’s enjoy opportunities to preach, assist in worship services, teach Bible studies, teach Sunday school classes, and exercise leadership in various ministries. Many PIT’s have been trained and launched into ministry in recent years. Some PIT’s have become Hispanic church pastors, senior pastors, youth pastors, missionaries, college pastors, singles pastors, etc. The PIT is exposed to the inner workings of church life and the multi-faceted duties of a pastor. Their training enables them to see if they are indeed fitted and ready for pastoral ministry. PIT’s may attend Staff Meetings, Pastor’s Meetings, Board Meetings, and are exposed to a host of other learning opportunities.
