Through The Roof

“Through the Roof” desires to meet the needs of any individual and their family affected by a disability and to help them reach their fullest potential in Christ.

Services:

  • One-to-one “buddies” during Sunday school for children needing extra assistance
  • Hearing assistance devices in the Worship Center
  • Pew cut-outs for wheelchair users
  • Accessible facilities which include restrooms, choir loft and parking
  • Videos of AM and PM services
  • Audio cassettes of Am and PM sermons
  • Disability resources available upon request
  • Disability related issues and information brought before the congregation through programs, classes and brochures.

Programs:

  • Annual community outreach for disability awareness. We partner with Joni and Friends of Phoenix.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Participate in valley-wide disability outreach
  • Assist a caregiver to provide respite care
  • Become a one-on-one buddy for a child in an integrated classroom
  • Participate in National and International Mission Projects

Requirements:

  • A willingness to serve others or receive assistance.
